DURATION:

This is a part-time role for a minimum of 16 months, based in Tunis with travel across the country required. Can be extended based on performance and context. Must be available to begin by August 17^th, 2020.

CONTEXT:

GAME is one of the fastest growing NGOs in Scandinavia, recently voted as one of the top 150 globally while operating in 10 countries. We focus on Youth Empowerment and Social Change through street sports and culture. GAME has begun its multi-year programme in Tunisia and is launching activities from September 2020. This position is for a dynamic Communications Manager who is passionate about creating social change through sports or working with young leaders. They should be a highly savvy and resourceful manager who with a keen eye on stakeholders and communicating the voice of the Tunisian youth.

SCOPE OF WORK

Communications

· Supporting GAME as thought leader

· Communications oversight including SoMe presence, donor requirements, annual reporting, alignment to organizational targets

· Press Relations: Place GAME in local, national and international media

· Branding (e.g. Onsite, Office, SoMe)

· SoMe

o Develop, plan and execute Social Media strategy

o Handle Social Media Data (e.g. analyze, surveil)

o Evaluate and implement SoMe learnings

o Day-to-day delivery of SoMe content

§ Create quality video content

§ Create quality photo content

· Update and develop website

· Build the GAME stories and feed to COMMS and MEL team

· Create communication deliveries (material) for partners (e.g. foundations, state, municipality, private donors)

PROFILE REQUIREMENTS

§ Tunisian National with Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Journalism, Development Studies, Marketing, IT.

§ 4+ Years’ experience in community engagement.

§ Experience of designing communication and outreach strategies

§ IT skills (WordPress, Photoshop, Website Design).

§ Plays sports (football, basketball, dance, etc) and believes in the power of sport.

§ Municipal Government engagement Experience.

§ Fluent in English and Arabic.

PROFILE PREFERENCES (not required)

§ Volunteer Management experience.

§ Experience with Displaced populations and/or refugees.

§ Significant NGO Experience and have engaged with UN Agencies.

§ Background in team sports.
