Alliance for Financial Inclusion (AFI) & Project Background: AFI is the world’s leading organization on financial inclusion policy and regulation. Roughly 100 member institutions make up the AFI network including central banks, ministries of finance and other financial regulators from 90 developing and emerging countries. AFI works on empowering policymakers to increase access and usage of quality financial services for the underserved through formulation, implementation and global advocacy of sustainable and inclusive policies. 2. Objective: AFI is seeking to engage two (2) contractors (videographer) to provide video production and editing services as and when needed in the upcoming 12 months (Retainer). Under the guidance of AFI Communications Unit, the contractor should adhere to all AFI branding guidelines and should use innovative approaches and latest design and video trends in creating expected output. 3. Scope of Work: a) Video production · Under the guidance of the AFI team, create story-boards and identifying shooting sites. · Under the guidance of the AFI team, identify interview subjects and persons, including drafting of interview objectives, questions, and scripts. · On ground shooting of sites which must include multiple angles and options for AFI team. · Obtain written consent of all subjects and persons that appear in the videos including background of all footage. · Conduct on the ground interviews in a manner which is respectful of local traditions, culture, and social norms, including respectful environmental practices. · Create animations, titles, and motion graphics. · Find suitable audio to use for video introductions and edit as needed. · Provide recommendations on the best and most relevant visual design style and materials suitable for target audience. · Delivery of all videos the AFI team in high-quality and high-definition as per stipulated timeline in good order. b) Video editing · Create animations, titles, and motion graphics. · Create simple yet attractive infographics to highlight quotes, facts, or talking points to support video. · Find suitable audio to use for video introductions and outro, and edit as needed. · Follow the AFI brand guideline to maintain brand consistency. · Delivery of all videos the AFI team in high-quality and high-definition as per stipulated timeline in good order. The contractor will work closely with AFI’s Communications Unit to produce video materials which include but are not limited to: · Trailers · Promotional videos · Interview videos · Event highlight/recap videos · Webinar videos For each agreed project assigned, the video editor will: · Receive a brief from AFI focal point · Prepare a first draft of the assigned video · Submit the preliminary draft for discussion with AFI · Revise the selected draft as discussed with AFI · Ensure all corrections have been inserted · Make final corrections to final file · Prepare the final files for uploading 4. Deliverables: Deliverables are based on the activities set out for 2020 and 2021, as and when required: Video Editing (5-10 videos a month) · High level virtual roundtable discussions. · Variety of Leaders’ dialogue webinars. · Virtual meetings and webinars by five AFI regional initiatives. capacity Building recap webinar videos. · Any other videos which might be required. 3 minutes Video Productions (5 per year) 5. Consultant Experience: · Consultant must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Broadcasting, Film Studies/Cinematic Arts, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent · 5+ years’ experience of producing high quality videos (script writing, videography, editing, animations, audio balancing, sub-titling) · Strong technical knowledge in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects · Creative portfolio of proven work with an ability to generate and develop new ideas · Ability to work under short deadlines whilst maintaining high quality output · Creative and likes to conceptualize different ideas and video approach to capture audience · Excellent written and presentation skills in the English language · The ability to research, check facts and create compelling yet thought-provoking video angles. 6. Criteria For Evaluation: The proposals submitted will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Relevant education - a Bachelor's Degree/Post-Graduate Diploma/Professional Degree in Broadcasting, Film Studies/Cinematic Arts, Advertising/Media, Mass Communications or equivalent Portfolio – Range of creative work covering different kinds of videos; trailers, promotional videos, interview videos, animations, infographics. Are the videos able to capture the audience? Number of years active in producing high quality videos Software skills – whether consultant has technical knowledge in Premiere Pro and After Effects to create the required videos.
